La Colle sits quietly on the South and East side of a hill tucked away in the countryside. We have dominant views of a spectacular valley and distant mountains, over 30 hectares of private parkland and are completely surrounded by countryside. (see our Overview page here)

Here you will find a peaceful hideaway from the stresses and strains of life, yet when you want to discover and explore you will also find that we are not really far from the sights and pleasures of Provence. (see our Points of Interest page here)

Galileo occupies the sumptuous East wing of La Colle and consists of over 80 m2 of space. All of this wing views onto our parkland, the valley and receives spectacular morning sunrises (if you like to get up early). The Main House dominates the South wing of our property and has it's own private places.

You will probably decide to take most of your meals out in the open so the views are very important to you. We have constructed a 70m2 terrace that overlooks the Northern valley. Here is your private area and many of our guests spend hours sipping a fine wine while nature paints a splendid picture for you in the valley.

The grounds covering 30 hectares of parkland, that's about 3 sq kilometres, and are ideal for exploring. the parkland offers secluded spots under the shade of mature trees in our woods or sunny spots for relaxation and taking in the splendour of nature surrounding the property.

Nearer to home we have created many relaxing features, either for yourselves or the kids to play with, ranging from swings to open kitchens and dinning areas.

The swimming pool 10.2 x 4.5m is well situated with a dominant view of the valley below. Although we all use it we find that everyone has time to soak up some peace and quite by the reflective blue surface of it's lapping waters. Key facilities supplied as standard

Dates : Flexible start dates (except High Season), Save on flight costs with weeks starting mid-week.

Kitchen : Gas cooker 4 burner, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, electrical kitchen aids including cafeteria.

Other items : WD film library with over 300 films, Large flat screen flat TV, Open access Wi-Fi, DVD with films, Hi-Fi system with CD's, ironing board and iron, BBQ, French and English library, board games, banquette, additional lounge chairs.

Kids and babies : This gîte is well set up for kids, young children and babies. see our comparison lists for full details.

Beds Bedding : One double bed 200 x 160 cm, Two single 190 x 90 cm. Cot and travel cot. Towels and Linen are included in the stay, one set per stay.

5th Guest : There is an easy to use electrical pump-up single bed available which allows for a 5th guest to stay (a small extra charge will be made for this person details on request).

Garden : Multiple eating nooks, expansive grounds, dominant views, terrace.

Pool : 10.2 x 4.5m  with quality double filtering system, large beach area with plenty of relax chairs.

Parking access : Private parking is situated at La Blache and for suitable vehicles on the property and is accessed by a country track.
